Elizabeth M Cross, APRN, PNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Liz attended Virginia Tech where she graduated with honors and earned her first bachelor of science in biology in 2004. She then moved to Baltimore, Maryland, to attend the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she completed her second bachelor of science, this time in nursing.

Liz worked for several years as a registered nurse in the Baltimore area, including a pediatric medical surgical unit that was the area burn unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a private urgent care center. During this time, she continued her graduate studies at Johns Hopkins and earned her master’s degree in 2009, along with certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Liz then spent time volunteering in Tanzania, Africa as a maternal and child health nurse before settling in Austin. She most recently worked at Dell Children's Pediatric Specialty Services in general neurology. In late 2019, she created Child Neurology Consultants of Austin's CBD Resource Clinic. Currently, she stays busy managing and staffing the new clinic.

Liz is the proud mother of two – a daughter and son – who loves spending time with her family, swimming, camping, sewing, real estate, and travel.
